Add your assignments to grading categories. Scores for the assignments in a grading category are averaged and count as a percentage of students' overall grades.
Edit Assignment Options
After you have created an assignment, you can edit the assignment options. Assignment options vary, but often include grading policy and feedback availability. If some of your students have already begun the assignment, the changes you make do not apply to those students. You cannot edit the assignment options for Reading assignments.

Edit Assignment Content
After you have created an assignment, you can edit the content included in it. You cannot edit the content in Reading, Adaptive Study Plan, or Quick Prep assignments.
Create a Mastery Assignment
Use Mastery assignments to help your students understand new concepts. Mastery assignments consist of groups of questions related to a concept or skill, and are designed to encourage conceptual understanding. You can include up to 70 groups of questions in a single Mastery assignment, and the numbers and chemical systems in each question are randomized.
Create a Reading Assignment
Use Reading assignments to assign specific sections of the eBook to your students. Reading assignments are available with assignable eBook resources, and they are not graded.
Create an External Web Link Assignment
Use External Web Link assignments to link to additional assignments outside of OWLv2. Creating External Web Link assignments allows you to include external assignments in your gradebook.
Edit Adaptive Study Plan and Quick Prep Assignment Options
You can edit the default assignment options for Adaptive Study Plans and Quick Prep assignments. If some of your students have already begun the assignment, the changes you make do not apply to those students.
Create an Activity, Problem, or EOC Assignment
Use Activity, Problem, or EOC (End-Of-Chapter) assignments to reinforce concepts and provide reviews for your students. You can add a variety of pre-made questions, as well as questions you've created. You can include up to 150 questions in a single assignment.
Create a Quick Prep Assignment
Use Quick Prep assignments to prepare your students for new material. Students take a quiz to assess what they already know and what they don't, then work through a customized study plan based on their results. Some Quick Prep assignments end with another quiz to show what the student learned.
