Share Your Course With Students
Give students your course key so they can create an NGLSync account and enroll in your MindTap for K–12 course at nglsync.cengage.com/register .
View Students
If needed, sign in to NGLSync at nglsync.cengage.com . Under the course you want to manage, open the Manage Course menu and click Manage Students . Your Course page opens. Remove Students
If you used student self-enrollment or manually added students to your NGLSync roster, you can remove students from your NGLSync roster.
Add Students Manually
Under the course you want to manage, open the Manage Course menu and click Manage Students . Click Add Students . If a student has an NGLSync account, their name is added under Students to add to your course. If a student does not have an NGLSync account, create one for them. Click Create Student Account . Students Asked for Payment
Your K–12 school district has purchased access to MindTap for K–12 for its students, but when you create an account and sign in at the main Cengage home page, you are told your trial access will expire and asked for payment.
Add Students from Google Classroom
Link your NGLSync course to your Google Classroom class to add students. Students access their course directly from Google Classroom and do not need to use a separate username and password.
Links to MindTap for K–12 Courses or Activities Don't Work
When you click a link to a MindTap for K–12 course or activity from your LMS, the link doesn't open a new browser window with the course or learning activity.
Can't Register Google Classroom Students
Your course page shows the error message Students cannot be registered in your course until you correct your permission settings or unlink Google Classroom.
Add a Link to Student Dashboard
After linking your Canvas and MindTap for K–12 courses, add a link to the student dashboard in the same way you add links to MindTap for K–12 activities. Students can use this link to access their purchases from the dashboard.
