Students cannot edit their own profile information in NGLSync. If their name or ID number were entered incorrectly when their account was created, or an inappropriate username was chosen, a teacher or admin must update their profile.
Find the student whose profile you want to update.
If the student is enrolled in your course:
Under Registered Students, click the student's name.
If the student is not enrolled in your course:
In the upper-left corner, click
› Students.Search for the student by name, username, or student number.
Click the student's name in the search results.
The Student page opens.
Click Edit.
- Username
- Student ID
- First Name
- Grade
- Last Name
- Password
Click Save.
A confirmation message opens with the student's new profile information.
Click Confirm.
